Kenta Naka from New Zealand is a native English and Japanese speaker wIth over 13 years of coaching experience. Kenta has worked with several National and ITF junior players in New Zealand, Europe and the USA. After coming to Germany in pursuit to play ITF Futures events with plans to then pursue a job offer by an Academy in Japan, Kenta made an easy decision pursue a new opportunity with Tennis University, and has been with us since 2018. While studying Clinical Psychology in the USA, Kenta had reached #8 in the NAIA National College Doubles Ranking with brother Daiki Naka, beating ATP ranked players in this time while also competing in the Boston professional league. Kenta had also represented the region of New England in the USA Cameron cup north east championships. Other notable achievements: Academic All American status, Player of the year, 3 All Conference Academic Athlete awards, and All Conference 1st team status.
