INSIDE TU #12 – FOREHAND-TECHNIQUE

Thu, 29.11.2018

Coach Rob is joined by Coach Bastian Suwanprateep! Here Coach Suwanprateep will show us 3 progressions for correct forehand footwork patterns.

1: With the medicine ball, the player receives the ball from the coach to where they will then step in to execute a closed stance forehand. The player then takes the racket to repeat the exercise with the ball.

2: Next, the semi open stance forehand will be played in the same way as the closed stance, progressing from the medicine ball to playing the shot with their racket.

3: The final progression will include a mixture of both patterns off the forehand where the player must adjust in making the correct pattern in accordance to the ball they receive.
