Together back to the Top 10 – Angelique Kerber

Mon, 03.12.2018

Angie came to the TU after Wimbledon 2011, where she lost to Laura Robson in the first round. She was dropping out of Top 100, not in shape, and not confident at all. She agreed on a trial at our academy and liked it from the start. She stayed for about 5 weeks to prepare for the US Open, and the hard work paid off. She went to Dallas the week before NYC and made semis out of qualies, and then went on an incredible run into the semis, climbing from WTA #107 to #35.

Fully motivated she came back to start her preseason on the 6th of November for 7 weeks to get into the best shape of her life. That was the foundation of her 2012 season where she moved up to #5 in the world.

We are very proud to be a part of her incredible journey that lead up to winning several Grand Slams and making the #1 the world.
